Despite Corona - tripled harvesting result

Lots of sugar kelp and winged kelp to dry in our 2020 season.

Thanks to our harvesting team for a very good 2020 season.

Despite of more difficult working conditions under the Corona pandemic, TANGO Seaweed was able to triple its results in terms of harvested biomass compared to last year.

For the first time, we managed to take in all of our sugar kelp and winged kelp which had grown beautifully during the spring. At sea, the use of an electric hauler made life much easier for the boat crew.

The fact that water temperatures stayed low way into May meant that we could get all our sea vegetables dried and ready for sale before the onset of fouling.
